Performance steps at data loading time.....

Hi all,

I am new to BW. i read some documents on Performance issues. can any one explains that, what are the steps to be followed for performance while loading the data in source system as well as in BW side briefly...,

this is my first post. very happy here to share our knowledge here. i think Roberto & Bhanu are the masters for all. but it doesn't mean that not all...., any how i would say thanks to every one here who ever sharing their knowledge with people like me..,

keep posting everyone abt thier knowledge..., i too follow from now onwards...,

so gurus & experts i am waiting for ur input for my simple question i think..., definitely i would say thanks to them by giving points way only....,
