    Hi,

There are 2 possibilities why your changes are not gettind saved to a Transport Request.

    1. Either the objects are already locked in a transport request.

    2. The package or developement class is $tmp thats means they are local objects hence not transportable.

For Case 1: Find the request and the owner. You can release the request after consultations OR ask the person to transport the changes. Later you can create a new request for transporting your objects.

For Case 2: Assign the package and then save it in a transport request and later transport.

    Hope this helps.

    Bye

    Hi Anil,

You would do all the enhancements in your Dev box and transport it later to Production after testing. Basically whatever chnages you do would be assigned to a transport request. This same request would be used to transport the changes to production box. All the changes in SAP are tracked using the Transport Mecanism. You can use se09/se10 for creating and tracking transport requests.

      Dear dinesh,

TQ's 4ur rply. i know the things that what u mentioned. when i am doing some changes it will not aksing any request for saving in that particular request which is i already created. it will save some where other request. if i transport to that one, that request having another changes which will affect for that related objects in production. so i want to save all my related changes in my particular request & wants to be transported that particular request only...,

    Hi Anil,

    Follow these steps:

    1. Undo all the changes manually to bring it to the BIW0006 state by comparing with Production box.

    2. Release the transport request - BIW0007. Now whatever changes you do will be saved in a new request under your id.

    3. Now do the required changes as per the client requirements.

    4. Transport the changes.

    Hope this helps.

    Bye
