SAP SD pricing condition types and there use

Hi Experts...

I am new to this site . I know all the standard condition type ( header and item condition ) but i don't know the proper use of it in appropriate situation . can you please help me to explain all the important condition type with business scenario .

And can you please share some normal pricing procedure from where i come to know the use of condition type..
