Product costing - Variance variant issue

Hi All,

While saving variance program RKKKS1N0 variants. I found that changes made to Variant>>Parameters>>Selected target cost versions are transferred to all other variants of the program RKKKS1N0.

Requirement:

To run program with different variant>>Parameter>>versions for two different plants under the same company.

Plant A: we are trying to run only "Target Costs for Total Variances"

Plant B: All target cost versions.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Joseph,

I think you can create 2 different variant and save different parameters without transferring the parameters to other variants in the program.

Make sure you are maintaining variant attributes like name and meaning.See below

    Thanks

    Hi

Cant you save 2 variants wherein, in the

1st variant you select the radio button "All Target cost versions"

2nd variant you select the radio button "Selected target cost versions".. and select only the "Total Var" check box with in this option

    Hi Joseph,

This program is very new to me, so I felt interesting and tried. It is working fine.

You can have different requirements for different plants by using the concept of variant.

Please do create different variants for different plants.

After creation (saving as variant), you just go and select the right variant from the list before execution. You can observe the same in below screen shots..

    Go to menu like below..

Click on GET, you see the pop up like below...

depending on your selection of variants you see below screens.....

NOTE: Joseph, Please ignore the above if you already tried like this

But how to apply the same to KKS1 transaction code is a big question in my mind. That means I can execute with the parameters from variant principle using the program but unable to do the same through KKS1. Where do we link this KKS1 transaction with variants defined? I tried a lot, no results favored.

    Regards..

    Jose
