Not able to run Design Studio Application as OpenDocument from BI LauchPad folder structure - Run from Home Tab works fine

Hi experts,

we are not able to start a SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio Application as OpenDocument from BI LaunchPad FOLDER STRUCTURE. The start of the OpenDocument from the Home Tab of the LaunchPad works as expected.

Not possible to run the OpenDocument from folder structure ➖

After double click on the Application nothing happens...

Run the OpenDocument from Home Tab works fine ➕

Any ideas or experiences?

Eventually it is a authorization topic? With the Administrator User it is possible to run the OpenDocument also from folder structure.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Michael

    Hello Michael,

I think you are right. It looks like an authorization issue.

Please check the following topics in CMC:

    - click on Folders

    - right mouse click on mentioned folder '1.1' --> User Security --> check assigned security and user group

    Best regards,

    Sven
