ABEND RS_EXCEPTION with some users

Hi Group ,

Environment : BI 4.0 SP6,DS 1.2,BI 7.4 SP3,

OLAP connection with SSO.

Created application and tested with developer ID (enterprise user with admin rights) , it is working .Refreshed same application with other user with SAP authentication , I got below error.

Have you researched the SAP Notes?  There are a couple of recent notes on this BICS error

Seems both notes are  for 4.1 webIntelligence . I'm using DS 1.2 with 4.0

It sounds like a BICS error, so you may want to submit a ticket with SAP Support and attach the logs

HI Tammy ,

For info, I changed DS preference to SAP Netweaver and logged as user(which I'm getting error ) .Clicked on create application but application couldn't created.With the other user (which is running fine with OLAP connection) I'm able to create new application. Is any rights to be given to a user in BW?
