Workflow Email Step goes into Error

I have one expense report work flow which user rejected because of insufficient receipts. But the Notification email to user about rejection went into error. The Event Trip Change was triggered before user approval. Is that the reason why the Email step went into error or any other possible issues?

if trip change is the issue how to go about this workflow? Should i manually complete it or do something else?

Please help.

    Hi Anand

Just joking - but why all the workflow errors of the world have to come to you 😊

Anyways, what is the error in the step history of the email step? Are you using SELFITEM SELFTASKDESCRIPTION to send the email?

    regards,

    Modak

    Hi Anand,

I do not suspect event triggering to be reason for this.

I would recommend that you check the step history for email step in workflow log.

This will give you the reason why the step went into error.

    Regards,

    Raj
