AUC Asset Acquisition

Hi SAP Gurus,

I would like to ask if there's any SAP Standard Process flow of AUC Asset Acquisition? If theres any could you advise where to search as I need to test in our system the standard process flow.

We have system process flow in our business but cannot proceed due to error below:

Asset is investment measure, transaction type not allowed

Message no. AK005

Diagnosis

Asset XXXXX 0 that is to be posted is an investment measure. You are not allowed to post transactions that affect acquisition value using the current transaction.

Procedure

Check the asset and transaction type 120.

Could you also please advise if theres any wrong about the process?

Start -> Create WBS CJ20N -> Create AUC in AS01 -> Release WBS -> PO -> Goods Receipt -> Asset Vendor Invoice -> Settle to AUC asset CJ88 -> Create Main Asset AS01 -> Settle AUC to Main Asset CJ88.

Hi Nel,

can you check the fixed asset,asset class config, it might updated with Investment measure in config under Status of Auc (OAOA)

Hi Suresh,

I have already check the Tcode OAOA and the AUC asset that I have created has a an asset class which status of AUC is Investment measure.

Hi Nel,

If the settlement is happening at final (Main) asset and the asset related Asset class should not have Investment measure and it should have "No Auc or Summery management of AUC".

I was in the part of PO creation but cannot proceed to save the PO due to error.

Hi Ernel,

The asset in this case is Complete Asset, correct?

If yes, check you asset master, because it doesn't need to fill Investment measure.

Hi Ernel

Either remove the investment measure to make it a normal AUC. However, if you need it to be an investment asset, the you have to do a PO with an internal order and the internal order should have this AUC as the settlement rule.

Hi Ernel,

The workflow is correct.

When settle to Complete asset by tcode CJ88, which processing type you choosed? Is it Full settlement? And have you add one more settlement rule for Complete asset?
