Dear All,
Whenever we maintained Previous employer tax detail (580) for an employee.
It fatches data from previous employer in form 16.
However my client does not want(previous employer tax detail) to reflect in present form16.
Let me know, what to do?

Hi,
You may lock IT-580 record in month of March. i.e. You have to first process the payroll for March with previous employer income, note the tax calculated if any and then lock the IT-580 record. The tax calculated is to be added in custom wage type for additional tax or voluntary tax, this needs to be done to have correct tax for month of March.
The locking of IT-580 record will resolve the issue of form 16.
This is one of the suggestions.

My requirement is when an employee joins in mid year.
we maintained IT580, after maintaining EE previous employer details it comes in FORM16. This is the standard behaviour.
However my client does not want that. They want to maintained IT580 but does not want, this detail to come in FORM16.
Let me know what to do?
