Good morning Slackers Cool People in the Coffee Corner,
here's the thing,
does anybody know what a thing is ?
if you don't know what a thing is, then fear not, for it is defined
on page 26 of this document
Please in the spirit of respecting privacy and ownership of content, do not
copy and paste the definition of the thing here, or publish here anything from
that document.
Have fun,
Andy.
Let's not forget there are also Thing One and Thing Two.

I like "thing" and "thingy", but those definitions are making my head dizzy. oO

And of course thing starred in television series as Thing T. Thing
the definition has a certain amount of relevance
for example, the definition supports the sentence,
have you done that thing yet ?

Man, this is just really bizarre... it reminds me of the SCN-account verification mail after the JIVE migration in 2012 that said something like "HELLO DEAR, PLEASE UPDATE TWO FIELDS SO CAN CONTINUE USING SCN THANKS"...
Cheers, Lukas

I'm trying to work out if that is intentional or someone forgot to proof read and update the document before releasing...

Well don't go poking fingers at proof readering abilities of SAP documenters please before you see that some of our competitors partners have even more extensive definitions of things .
And in the spirit that Andy raised I shall refrain from cut and pasting that thing type description.
But yeah, it seems like it's for real and it's alive and well and a HEALTHY thing.
Hi Marilyn,
and that's the thing.
Another thing, it's interesting the word competition, I wouldn't classify MS as a competitor and moving on further, in this book, the author, Wallace D Wattles teaches becoming creators and not competitors and that we will achieve more through our creative channel than our competitive channel and thinking creatively than competitively. Very interesting perspective.
Best regards,
Andy.
Well of course as a collaborative human being who loves co-opetition and cooperation and creativity of minds, I would HAVE to agree with you entirely. Even without reading Wattles I love the quote by Brian Johnson that you surfaced (thanks)
Rather than investing all of our energy into worrying about “barriers to entry” and outmaneuvering our “competitors,” why not simply create? Simply show up every day and seek to create value in the world through exceptional service and a heartfelt desire to give our best to the world—day in and day out?
Thanks! That the thing!
I can't believe it!
thank you for sharing
