PI 7.4 Client certificate based authentication setup

Hi Experts,

We need to setup  client certificate based authentication in PI 7.4 Java only stack.So we can use certificate instead of Username/passord to authenticate.

We have followed the steps show in blog:

Can we pass the certificate using the web browser instead of SOAPUI  for accessing SOAP url ? Are any additional steps required for this?

When we test  using SOAPUI , I get error – 401 Unauthorised.

How can we relove this?

Hi Amit,

I am not sure but you can check this option in Internet Explorer ->tool-> internet option->Contetnt tab->Certifcate ->import->

Hi Gagandeep,

I have imported the client certificate in the browser,but it does not get used for authentication.

Is there any specific type of client certificate we have to use ?
