B2B Add-on Receiver AS2 with request of asynchronous MDN

Dear SCN forum users,

We have the following scenario

IDoc > PO > AS2 and asynchronous MDN is requested to our target partner.

We success to receive messages from partner using CC_S_AS2 channels for other AS2 > PO > IDoc scenarii. (For that we impose a dedicated URL : auth/<partner name>)

We also success to send messages to partner but MDN are not accepted back.

We have set up a dedicated CC_S_AS2_MDN channel with option AS2 MDN XML on the same party/component on which is defined related CC_R_AS2 channels.

On CC_R_AS2 channels, we set MDN URL with same URL auth/<partner name>

We find following error in “Channel Independent Logs” section

Log

Incoming request for auth/<partner> from user@127.0.0.1; AS2From yyy, AS2To

As we have no possible configuration parameters in CC_S_AS2_MDN channel, what should be
the URL that must be pushed to partner as MDN URL ?

Cannot be the same than inbound messages ?

What is missing so that PO can make the link with sender MDN channel ?

Thank you very much for your potential help.

Jean-Charles

    Hello Jen-Charles,

You are right. There is no configuration setting is AS2 sender channel of type MDN-XML.

AS2 receiver channel has configurations in MDN Tab. There is option to create an XI message on receipt of MDN. Once you enable that option, you need to configure more fields to enter Party, Business Component and Channel Name. You have to enter the exact details of AS2-MDN-XML channel. Once MDN is received it will automatically get routed to the sender AS2-MDN channel that you have created based on above configurations.

    Regards,

    • Hi Piyush.

Here is the version of the tool we use. (Last one I guess)

I confirm your recommandation is working.

/mdn just have to be added in the requested MDN URL !!!

      I thank you very much...

However I'm just wondering where you find this information as I didn't see it in all AS2 Adapter documentation I read at this moment.

      Thank you again.
