Missing authorizations in role: SAP_ERC_REC_ADMIN_CI_4

Hi Experts,

I was trying to access the services assigned to Recruiting Administrator by logging to portal.

I have assigned the recruiter reference user (RCF_RECRUIT) and assigned recruiting administrator role SAP_ERC_REC_ADMIN_CI_4 to the user (along with other roles as well). RCF_RECRUIT is having recruiter role(SAP_ERC_RECRUITER_CI_4) assigned.

Now when i try to access some services on the portal, it is giving me you are not authorized error.

I went to tcode pfcg and checked the role "SAP_ERC_REC_ADMIN_CI_4", in this role there is no authorization to access applications like "ERC_A_AGENCY", "ERC_A_ADMIN_DEL_REQUI", "ERC_A_MNT_USER" etc.

Whereas there are authorizations for many other services available in Recruiting Administrator (for e.g. "ERC_A_ADMIN_SUPP_GROUP", "ERC_A_APPL_GRP", "ERC_A_CAND_OVERVIEW_DISPLAY" etc.)

But when I refer the link Recruiting Administrator - SAP E-Recruiting (PA-ER) - SAP Library, I can see that this this role should be having authorization to access these applications.

Can you please let me know if the role "SAP_ERC_REC_ADMIN_CI_4" is the correct role that needs to be used for accessing services meant for recruiting administrator. Please help.

We are on EHP7, ERECRUIT 617 SP0001.

      I checked the roles, too.

Yes you are right. The entries are missing. Please compare with the obsolete role SAP_RCF_REC_ADMIN_ERC_CI_2. In there you will find the correct setting. For the correction please open an OSS message. I would recommend you to copy the SAP_erc_rec_admin_ci_4 role and add the entries. This is always recommended as the SAP standard role mostly has much too far authorizations.
