Costing structure - authorization check on plant level

Dear All,

I would like to ask you for an advice.
We would like to activate an authorization check, which would limit the possibility to display the costing structure (BOM+routing) on plant level.

In transaction code CK13N we identified only one possible authorization object K_KEKO, which contains authorization fields Costing variant, Company code and Activity. So no check on plant level.

Is there any user exit, enhancement point or any other possibility how to achieve the authorization check on plant level?

Thanks a lot

BR

Peter

    Hi Peter

You can check if the auth objects C_ARPL_WRK or C_FVER_WRK satisfy your requirement. However, I am not sure if these are being checked in the program.

Maybe, you can look at adding a validation to check the plant authorization whenever CK13n is accessed.

      Hi Peter

      Just an idea.

In the validation have Prerequisite as Tcode is CK13N

In the Check you can check for the authorization to plant

In the message you can give an error message like does not have authorization for plant.

I do not know how far it is feasible 😊

    Hi..

An authorization profile(Role profile) have authorization object K_KEKO.

To achieve the authorization check on plant level, you can define plant in organization levels
of the authorization profile(Role profile) for object K_KEKO as below picture.
