Unable to pass JE from UIAPI Screen in Client PC.

Dear Experts,

an year back we have implemented UIAPI Add-on in SBO 8.82.067 PL05 for a client. few screens in this add-on creates JE in their usual process.

every thing went well till few days back.

recently users complained that they were unable to use this add-on as it failed in creating JE.

when i checked in server it is still good there.

I asked user to do the same in server with his/her id, to my surprise they were able to post successfully on server so no authorizations problem.

i have checked the date formats in server and client system , it is good.

i did checked every hint I've got online, none of them worked.

kindly let me know if anything else i left behind without checking.

MY CLOCK IS TICKING......

Thank you

    hi..

    Is it giving any Error ..in Client . like system messages..

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I need a small information. .

    before clicking in client

    check it in source code....

    any validations

    like if (s=0) then

    je will pass

    end if

    -> may be some validations are missing..

    -> open source code and check it .. any validations are there or not

    -> one more information i need ..

    how je is passing in client machine ..

    i mean je means in source we can mention glacode and debit and credit amount

    ok... i mean that in source code may be somebody mention any gl account code..

    put break point and check it

    what is gl account code :

    debit

    credit

    -> and then post one je in front end with some values ..

    suppose in source code it is taking values from customization form or some where..

    whether the front end is there any problem check it and post one manual entry..

    -> while posting je ocompany.GetLastError(return_value2, SerrorMsg) have u sing this one for getting the error.... we can get the error description..

    Hi Kishore,

    One thing need to check is that whether user has the permission or authorization for Journal Entry.

    And also try this while you are trying to add the Journal Entry:

    int ith = 0;

    try

    {

    ith = oJE. Add();

    if (ith != 0)

    {

    int irrcode;

    string errmsg;

    SBO_Company.GetLastError(out irrcode, out errmsg);

    Program.oMainSAPDI.ShowMessage(errmsg, BoStatusBarMessageType.smt_Error);

    }

    }

    catch (Exception ex)

    {

    Program.oMainSAPDI.ShowMessage(ex.Message, BoStatusBarMessageType.smt_Error);

    }

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks & Regards

    For you to validate if the JE is created, get the GetNewObjectKey.

    Console.WriteLine(oCompany.GetNewObjectKey)

    Hi Kishore,

    Do have the user change from PC (or do the PC has been fully reinstalled)?

    Regards,

    Eric
