New Category in External List Management Mapping Format

Hi All,

By default we have 6 categories ( Addresses, Adresses and Activitities, Leads, Actiivites etc) in External List Managment Mapping Format.

Please let me know where these are customized and how we can create new category.

I can see table CRMC_MKTLIST_M2 in system but can't display value in this table.

Thanks,

Naresh

    Hi Naresh,

the values are stored in the following tables:

    CRMC_MKTLIST_M1 ELM Mapping Format Type

CRMC_MKTLIST_M1T ELM Mapping Format Type Description

    CRMC_MKTLIST_M2 ELM Mapping Format Component

CRMC_MKTLIST_M2T ELM Mapping Format Component Description

    CRMC_MKTLIST_M3 ELM Mapping Type-Component Relationship

However the tables have the maintenance status "N Display/Maintenance Not Allowed", therefore in standard you can't change the same.

If you want to add any category you need to change the maintenance status in trx SE11 and maintain the values in the corresponding tables.

    best regards,

    Johannes

    Hi Naresh ,

Why do you need a new category ? If new need add new fields to use for mapping that is possible.

I don't think you can change the category, the ELM design and all the BADI/internal code is based on that.
