    yep...sree..i find that..

see i had stored every thing except one under one transport request..

The one stored under dif transport request.

see this option is for chaning only task number...

or request number (which comes upper in hierarchy).

I want to move this to a task number....(which is availble in original where all r stored under).

i am beginner ....dont mind if it is silly question to u.

      Hi raja,

I think I now understand what you are trying to do..

You are trying to move one object from a task to another task right ?

If that is the case..then I suggest deleted that object from the first task go to that object and hit save/activate..it will again ask for a change request then put it under the right one this time..

for example it is a table then delete the object by placing cursor on the object and then select delete icon from the application toolbar.

Then go to SE11 and then change mode of the Z table and save and activate..when it asks for a new change request then give the right one this time around..

OR alternatively delete it first from the first task then in the Request/Task menu there is an option Object List-> Include Objects..

Use that to add it again to new task..

OR did you try the merge option that I told you..it is also under utilities menu..

      Hope this helps..

Sudha correct me if I wrote some thing wrong..

      Sri

    Hi Raja,

    It is OK!!

Actually it makes sense to keep all of them in one transport request..

Because when you transport to subsequent systems,

if they are spread across multiple requests..then the transport will result in errors..

    For example,

If z tables and program are in one request and then message class is in another request.

Then the first transport request will result in errors in the target system as it will not find the message class that is used in the program which is coming in the second transport request..

Same with Z tables that are used in the program if the program and Z tables happen to be in two different requests and only one gets transported..

    Hope this helps..
