Webdynpro Settings

Hi,

I try to do the webdynpro application on Trial version. It is showing the following message inn viewdesigner.

Error in the ICF node

Specific ICF nodes in transaction SICF must be released for the Web Dynpro View Designer

Check the following ICF nodes, as described in note 517484:

/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/bc/viewdesigner

I have done some of the settings in SICF Tcode but the above address is not found.

Please suggest some workaround for this.

Thanks.

    Hi Rajiv,

Since several services may be executed when you call a URL, all service nodes must be activated in the SICF tree. Can you check whether all the other nodes under the path are active?

If, for example, you want to activate services for the /SAP/public/icman URL, you have to activate the "default_host" service tree in transaction SICF. After that, you must activate the individual "sap", "public", and "icman" services.

    Thanks,

    Chaitanya.
