Navigation attribute as selection criteria

Hi Bex Experts,

I have the following Query with Material Nummer and Material Type as navigation Attribute How can i use material type as filter criteria, if I press filter I can only filter by material number. Additionally is it possible to add the material type directly to the selection criterias ?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can, because mat type as navigation and possible to use at filters area.

    Try on dev and check it. It may displays the data as per filter section(restriction).

    HI,

    If i understand your query properly then you need to make variable on navigational attribute.

    Yes you can very well do that...Drag and drop the navigational attribute in characteristic restriction and create a user input variable on it.

    Now this will be available in your selection screen and you can filter the data as per your need.

    Hi Matthias,

    Please drag and drop the Material type form global area to local area (free char or row panel)

    if you want put filter on Material type -> drag object char restriction ->right click-> put filter what ever you required.

    if you want for filter in BEx analyzer ->right click on the column -> select filter value. (got temporary testing purpose)
