Hello,
I have two questions regarding the planning within FI new GL for profit centres (PC):
1. I loaded plan data and found that the currency conversion rate of the first of the month had been taken by SAP, currency type M.
Can I - as with plan versions within CO - "tell the system" take another rate type and (e.g. the beginning of the year (01.01)?
2. After load I found that within transaction FAGLP03 the line items where displayed correctly by period.
However SAP stored them all under period 16. Is that a normal behaviour?
Thanks a lot for input and best wishes for 2014.
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
For considering the Plan Version Configuration for the Exchange Rate Type, check below path
T.Code OKEQ
Select the Plan Version - Click on Setting for Each Fiscal Year - Exchange Rate Type
Please check above setting which Exchange Rate Type is maintained.

Hi Jaymin,
that is exactly what SAP does not do. It would follow that one in case of normal PCA (CO not FI).
I checked FAGLFLEXP also. Again, only period 16 but (e.g. 16 columns for the periods with the values being written in the correct columns, though).
Perhaps you have another hint for me concerning the rates.
Thanks a lot
Thomas
Hi Thomas
All totals tables store the values for Period 16. But they are stored in separate columns meant for each period
In the configuration for new gl planning, I would suggest you run through all the IMG nodes. If SAP has provided the option, it would be there in one of the IMG nodes. I feel there is no such option, but I don't trust my memory here as I did it long back. Okeq won't help for GL planning in new gl.

Hi Thomas,
Exchange rate type M > derive from Planing profile (Transaction code is GLPLANZ & GLPLADM) > select your default profile > Click on tables which can planned folder > select entry > again double click on folder planing task for the table, where you can see the exchange rate type. You can check mentioned ,if applicable
1502813 - GP12N: currency translation problem
Thanks Ajay correct me.

Hi Thomas,
Check OKEQ settings where you have to mention exchange rate type & date ,which same will derive exchange rate with respect version which is assigned to define Plan version.
Data will save period wise only check data in FAGLFLEXP table where you can see the HSL* fields.
