How to connect SAP NTWGW with a standalone non sap databse

Hi,

I am unable to find sufficient information on how to connect a non sap database via netweaver gateway.

The documentation at SAP Library - SAP NetWeaver Gateway tells about the limitations,

My requirement is- I have some data in oracle/mysql database (standalone which is not related with sap) which needs to be send to ECC system.

Please let me know if more details required on the requirement...

Hi Atul

Refer to http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABENOPENSQL_MULTICONNECT.htm. The document explains how you can connect to a Secondary DB from your ABAP AS. In your Data Provider Class you could use this technique to access data from other DB.

Let me try this at my home network..maybe firewall or something in my office...I mean the links are ok and work for you then it should for me too.
