where to implement note?

Hi Experts,

we are getting  CONVT_NO_NUMBER runtime error for program /SDF/SAPLE2E_EFWKE_COLLECTORS in ECC production system.

As per instruction given in the note 1907824 when we reproduce it in Solution manager system in extractor framework logs, both the dumps are identical,

now we have confusion whether this Note should be implemented in SP5(solution manager) system or EP5(ECC) system.

Please guide for the same.

Hello

The solution is to implement the SAP note 1872633 - /SDF/E2E_WP_INFO: Unable to interpret * compatibility

Soluton Manager is connecting to the ECC system and the function module /SDF/E2E_WP_INFO is called to collect the system information and that fails with an ABAP dump.

First update the ST-PI on the ECC system and see if that fixed the issue.

Dear all,

I had the same issue in one of my production server.

First i applied this SAPNOTE in the Solution Manager system and the error did not stop.

However i applied the same on the ECC system where we were getting this error

and this fixed the issue.

However we did not face this issue in other systems where the ST PI patches are on the same level...

This note can be implemented in those system where you have below release.

2008_1_620	SAPKITLRB8-SAPKITLRB8
2008_1_640	SAPKITLRC8-SAPKITLRC8
2008_1_700	SAPKITLRD8-SAPKITLRD8
2008_1_710	SAPKITLRE8-SAPKITLRE8

So please implement this is the ECC and the Solman system.

Can you please confirm that what is the patch level of SAPKITLREX in both the system.

Hi Nagesh

Looks like recently you had done a ST PI upgrade in your systems .

Please implement the note in the Solution Manager system first and confirm that the error goes away.

Then you can work on the ECC system..
