Dear Experts,
I have issue regarding sap leave quota.When staff apply leave and his superior not approved in his/her dashboard, leave quota for staff not deduct. Hence,
it become problem at the end of the day, when superior try to approve, the quota is have fully utilize. Is there any standard ways, to deduct leave quota starting from staff apply leave, so that it won't make confusion.

Leave quota will get deducted once the approved leave requests are posted/updated in the infotype 2001.There is no other standard method to deduct the quota.
You can avoid these confusions by using badi PT_ABS_REQ. In this you can write the logic to stop employee by applying leave by checking the available quota and the requests which are pending for approval.
