Last 3 Data package load remains yellow in Cube

Dear All,

When loading inventory data in Cube initially the data load remains yellow in first data package itself, than i got solution from SCN discussion, that is i increased parallel process from 3 to 6.

After doing this data is loaded , but some data package i faced invalid characteristic based issue i solved it using RSRV tcode, but again data load remains yellow for long time, this time in the last data package, Number of process is still 6 in DTP setting, still i am facing the issue.

Job overview shows my job is active

Below is the Job log

Please help me in solving this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Rithika.

    Hi Rithika,

    - As you already increased the parallel process to 6 from 3. Did you change job priority to 'A' from 'C'?

    - Try with Delete DB Index for Infocube.

    - Check your Cube design (Dimension Ratio) also - SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS

    Thanks & Regards,

    Vipin

    Dear All,

My issue is solved, i followed the Vipin's solution. Thanks a lot Vipin.

    1) I ran the program SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS, i saw one of my dimension shown in red as in my screenshot

    2) I split the dimension saved my cube and saved all the transformation under the cube, if not saving and activating all the transformation related inventory cube it will show dump error ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT error as our cube structure is changed we should activate all the transformation under it. I faced this issue that's why clearly mentioning this point

    3) My parallel process setting of DTP is 6

    4) I loaded the data, it got loaded without any problem.

    Regards,

    Rithika.

    Hi Rithika,

If we see Job log, it looks good. Job is progressing continuously. So it gives a picture that Job or Process is not Stuck.

I prefer to wait some more time and have a regular check on job log.

And if we refer to Monitor screen we can find that job is dealing with good number of records.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Vipin

    Hi,

I would suggest to do Consistency check of DTP in RSRV.

Please check if that throws any error.

    Regards,

    AL

    Hi,

Wait to complete your load. if still continue in yellow, then make it red and cancel your dtp.

Try to activate your transformation thru program and retrigger your dtp again.

    Thanks

    Hi Rithika,

    Option 1:

I also came across this issue few days back and found that Transactional RFC's were getting stuck in source system side. Check if in the IP monitor details tab, you are getting a message "No IDOCS arrived from source system".

Basically TRFC's are released automatically but some time if any of the previos TRFC get stuck in source system then all the other TRFC's in quest gets stucked. So check in transaction SM58, if there are any TRFC's pending, and consult to your Baisis team and request them to release it otherwise you will have to release each TRFC manually.

    Option 2:

inorder to check the source sytem job goto monitor screen of the load -->menu --> environment --> job overview -->select source system to check the TRFCs environment --> transactional RFC --> source system

    Regards,

    Baskaran

    Dear All,

    Thanks for the replies,

    1) As Vipin said i have changed the priority of job from C to A and checked loading still it remains yellow at same data package 17. And below the output of SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS

    2) As Raman said i have activated the transformation and reloaded the data still issue is there

    3) I also tried Gajesh's suggestion of deleting the index in cube, that also didnt work.

    Regards,

    Rithika

    • Dear Rithika

Can you please check for your work process timings.

You can check or check with Basis using RZ11 for the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time.

Please check what is the value maintained in the current value. It should be around 6000s.

In Normal cases with 3 WPs itself you should be able to load data comfortably

      Regards

      Gajesh
