ESS-W4 Error

Hi

We are facing error on the ESS-W4 screen when user's click on review they are getting "Please enter a date" error on top. But there is no field of date on screen. Also we see that when we hit edit screen it is not bringing the First name, last name, Address, SSN.

This a production issue and require immediate solution.

We tried to reproduce the error in other systems, but it is working

fine in other Dev/Qty systems.

We found an SAP note on SDN:1944968, this note is relevant for

Webdynpro ABAP and we are using Webdynpro Java. Not sure if this is

applicable for our scenario.

Regards

Sri

Thanks Jwala, I already referred to the earlier responses. Need to know if the given SAP Note is suitable for our scenario or not as we are using Webdynpro Java Application for W4.

      Regards

In the case of W4 functionality, the begin date allows only system date or the result from the BADI HRXSS_PER_BEGDA. This is the standard design and there no plans to change it. Please check your badi implementation first, Above note is for WD ABAP Can you clarify if you recently upgraded your system or implemented the above badi? FM HRXSS_PER_EDIT_P0210_US >> You can check in here if the dates are getting initialized?
