Facing issue while replicating EmployeeMaster Data from SF to ERP HCM using HCI and SCC

Hi All,

We are replicating employee master data from SF to ERP using SAP HCI prepackaged content. We are using SOAP Adapter in HCI with SAP RM protocol.

We are facing the below error:

Inbound processing in endpoint at http:// : /sap/bc/srt/ ?sap-client= failed with message "SoapFault:faultstring=Error reading XMLStreamReader: Unexpected character 'j' (code 106) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1]; faultcode={ http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Client", caused by "WstxUnexpectedCharException:Unexpected character 'j' (code 106) in prolog; expected '<' at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1]"

As we are using prepackaged content for integration in SAP HCI, so data is correct which we are sending to ERP. In SCC traffic logs also we can see the data flowing. But we are not able to see any logs in SRTUTIL T-Code in ERP HCM system.

Can anyone please help with this issue. I want to know the root cause for this issue like is it failing due to some settings in SCC or ERP HCM or HCI or any other thing. I cannot figure out.

Its very urgent so please help.

Regards,

Aman Raj

Hi,

Please find the URL format from SCC on which we are triggering data from SCC.

http://SCC Virtual Host:Port Name/sap/bc/srt/service created in ERP HCM and maintained in SCC?sap-client=client_id

Hi Aman,

Do we need to check SAP Cloud Connector Settings or SAP ERP settings?

Your help will be really appreciatable :)

Hi-

We have solved this by importing all the SCC Certificates into SAP ECC system, complete chain of Certificates (Top to Bottom) are imported into ECC system, Complete HCI Certificates are uploaded into ECC and the same time imported SAP ECC system certificate into SCC & HCI.

Thanks

Hello Vinod/Pravesh,

Can you please check if you are using proxy type as "On-premise" in your channel? Also check if your SCP sub-account is connected to Cloud connector and the mapping between virtual host to internal host is maintained.

Hi Nitin-

Thanks for your response. I have rechecked I am using Proxy Type as On-Premise and in SCC Sub Account is connected & Mapping between host are maintained. In SCC status is Green.

Thanks

Vinod
