Key figure calculation error - Union of attributes of all input planning levels should be...

Hello,

We have a consensus demand quantity at Period, SKU and Country level and a sourcing ratio at Period, SKU, Country and Location level.

We would like to calculate the location demand by multiplying the consensus demand with the sourcing ratio.

Below you can find the corresponding screenshots.

Can you please advise how to avoid the error message 'Union of attributes of all input planning levels should be equal to all attributes of output planning level' in our example.

Here are the key figure definitions:

Thanks and best regards,

Joachim

Hi Joachim,

The error message "Union of all input planning levels should be equal to attributes of output planning level" means the following in your case:

In the expression you are trying to save:

Output Planning Level is : MZ1PERSKULOCCOUNTRY

Input Planning Levels are : MZ1PERCOUNTRYSKU and MZ1PERSKULOCCOUNTRY

When you do a union of all attributes in input planning levels, there is a mismatch with attributes defined in the output planning level.

Now look at the attributes for each Planning level:

e.g: MZ1PERCOUNTRYSKU : This has attributes of all SKU and COUNTRY master data types along with attribute MZ1NETPRICE of compound master data type MZ1COUNTRYSKU

However the attributes in Planning level MZ1PERSKULOCCOUNTRY does not have the attributes of the compound master data type MZ1COUNTRYSKU.

By adding the MZ1COUNTRYSKU to the MZ1PERSKULOCCOUNTRY planning level, the calculation will be valid.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Raghav

Hi Joachim,

wondering if not having the two key figures at the same base planning level is causing this issue...

Consensus demand does not have location in base planning level but Sourcing Ratio contails location in its base planning level.

I'm wondering if this mis-match is causing the issue.
