Open Hub Destination Logical File Name

Hello,

With BW 73 SP 0009 I would like to use the Open Hub Destination functionality with a Logical file name. I have completed the following configuration steps under transaction code FILE: Logical File Path Definition, Assignment of Physical Paths to Logical Path, and Logical File Name Definition, Cross-Client.

On the Open Hub Destination Change: Overview screen, Destination tab, I have selected:

Destination Type FILE File

Checked Application Server

Server name aphilxxnnnx

Type of File Name 2 Logical file name

Appl.Server File Name ZSFDC_PRODUCT_FILE

Data Format 1 Separated by Separator (CSV)

Separator ,

Char. Set Setting Default Setting

The DTP is successfully executed but all records are transferred to the default UNIX directory into a default file name, not into the directory and file name that I specified in the logical file name configuration under transaction code FILE?

Has anyone experienced this or can anyone offer suggestions on how to direct the file to my desired location?

Thanks,

Mark

    Hi Mark,

The error should be with the Logical path assignment to a phisical path.

Please goto FILE transaction and check the assignment of the Logical file path to the Physical path.

Google with the key word "Step By Step Procedure to Create Logical File Path and Logical File Name" and refer this document for Logical path creation.

    Regards,

    Raghu
