With initialization you can define complex logic to initialize your input fields (Reading a constants table for example). With default you can only define fixed values for input fields.

    Hi

ABAP Program is a mixed of Runtime Events like

    1. LOAD-OF-PROGRAM.

    2. INITIALIZITIONS. etc

where as Default is a Keyword to set values.

    Eg :

Using the INITIALIZITIONS event, you can INITIALIZITe the selection-screen data also which is not possible with Default .

With Dault you can assign the data which won't change like constant data.
