Not able to delete PSA request

HI Gurus,

I am unable to delete the requests of a PSA. Its thru a process in a process chain. Below is the error I get. this PSA request deletion is part of a process chain, and this runs before the data load process. However sometimes there will be no requests in the PSA & still it has to run. Allthe transfer rules & transformations related are active, but still I get this error !

Thanks in advance,

Vandana.

    Hi ,

Seems like your data source was not in active. that's it saying psa structure doesn't;exist.

    for 3.x - RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL

    for 7.x rsds_datasource_activate_all

use above program and activate them. later repeat your psa deletion steps.

By using SE14 - try to adjsut and save the data for your PSA table if your authorised.

    thanks

    Hi,

please check the Data source active or inactive status.

its loading through process chain not possible deleting the data, if u loaded the cube level these request delete then try in PSA level.

    Thanks,

    KV.

All the datasource, transferstructure, DTPs all r active.

But this should be alltogether a diff issue, since this system is a copy of production. Anyother guess?

    • Hi Vandana,

While system is copied from production/QA there might be a chance where the replication of data source n activation of its strucuter might not took place properly.

Tthen there might be issue with your data source. Try to replicate the data source and activate the data source using the program

      RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL

Activate Transformation using the program : RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE

      Regards

    Hi Vandana,

    - Check active status of Datasource, TRANS, DTP, Transfer Structure (Entire Data Flow)

    - Regenerate Info Provider

    - Refer to following note: 1095246.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Vipin

First check either request is in which status i.e yellow/red

if it is yellow then need to change to red.

Then also Not able to delete means run this Program RSSM_REPAIR_PSADELETE &

    try to delete again.

    ( or )

    Delete through Program RSPSADEL1

    Dear Vandana,

First you have to activate all the Transfer structure before deleting the PSA. Please try to execute the below ABAP program if you have sufficient authorization :

    1. RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL (To active data source)
    2. RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL (To active transfer structure)

After this, you can resume your load in process chain. It will be successful.

    Regards,
