return delivery not able post

Dear Expert,

In QA11 t.code  able to post the stock into unrestricted stock .But when I am posting some stock into Return delivery M7 21 message is coming.So that I am not able to return quantity.The screen shot has been attached.

Please guide me to resolving the issue.

Hi,

Deflicit of PU IR Quantity message Comes when you have done the Invoice

Verification (MIRO) for the material, which you are trying to return. You

need to reverse the Invoice document first through MR8M and then try to

post the goods return.

Hi,

Your snaps are not clearly visible but by going after your query, pl check your config settings.

Quality management> Quality inspection> Inspection lot completion> Define inventory posting.

Have you maintained 122 movements in Q stock & Unrestrcited against VMENGE07 in Posting UD ?

Hi Nitin,

Yes 122 movement type has been maintained in quality stock and unrestricted.

The issue is

1. stocks are available  in quality stock (quantity is 117 ea) but we want to return to vendor 52 quantity.
2. When we are trying to post the following error log is coming (shown in QA11.JPG)

• SAP 06.01.2014 15:07:54
• 65 EA posted to unrestricted stock
• 52 EA incorrect: posting back to vendor, error message
• Deficit of PU IR quantity 52.000EA

It is not allowing the quantity back to vendor.

Hi,

So this is what you get while posting the qty in returns. Ok, you need to reverse the IV before posting the goods to return. Rahul has suggested you the required steps with needed info. Pl refer the thread given by him.
