Hi Mario,

If you have SAP PI implemented in your landscape then you can use ABAP proxy via open hub for this purpose otherwise you can use open hub to save the data in the flat files or BW and then can load this data into your system.

Hi Ganesh,

thanks for you reply.

I created the open hub destination as third party tool. In addition I wrote records into the hub (/bic/oh...), I would like to know what is the best way to transfer those records to the external target system.

Should I create an InfoSpoke?

Thanks in advance,
Mario

Hi,

info spoke is bw 3.x version, open hub destination concept is bw 7.x version. both are same.

As per your bw version you can info spoke or open hub destination concept.

if you have very less data then go with flat file concept other wise choose table concept in open hub.

there is no specific cases to use them. its all depend on client needs.

for ex: if you client need to load the same data to another requirement. in that case if we have required data in flat file format then it can be used easily.

Thanks

Hi,

thanks for you reply.

After that I load the open hub destination as third party tool, should I use an API that allows you to transfer data to external target system?

Then this API must be implemented in SAP BW or into the external system?

Thanks in advance,
Mario

Hi Mario,

Using Open Hub Destination you can write data to a table in SAP BW system to put this data in external system you can pull the data or write ABAP program to insert data intot external system.

Also you can use SAP XI for same.

Ganesh

Hi,

Please check about open hub functionality.

we can saved data info flat files or tables/ i think flat file might be useful in your case.

once we have flat file data, then we can updated flat files into external systems.

Thanks
