Hello Experts,

I need to add one(say MG3)  material group in MVGR3)MVKE-MVGR3).

I haven't done this configuration before.

So how to add say "MG3" in MVKE-MVGR3 ?

What is the impact of this and what precaution i have to take.

Please help me to get it done.

Thank you all..

Hi,

You have to follow this path:

SPRO > Logistics > General > Material Master > Settings for Key Fields > Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution > Define Material Groups

I cannot see any implications; the most common application of this grouping is related to analyses.

H.

Hi,

Go to SPRO - Logistic General - Material Master - settings for key fields - Data Relevant to sales and distribution - Define material categories. Here you can define mat group 1 to 5.
