Hello everyone,
I've ran into the strangest problem:
I have an adobe form with certain fields (some of them data-binded, some not) and all of the field are with font "courier new".
When I try to run the form, and display it, I get ADS error.
I've checked with BASIS guys and it's not problem in their side because other forms work.
Then I've changed all of the fields' font to Arial, and it worked!
Changed it back to Courier New - doesn't work again.
I have many other forms with courier new and those work fine, only that one doesn't work for some reason. Any suggestions to fix it without re-do the form?
Hi Daniel,
we had a similar problem with the font "Courier New". We opened a SAP incident and got the reply that this font is not delivered with ADS. The problem does not occur for all forms with this font but in our case some chinese characters caused this issue. The resolution proposed by SAP was the following:
Downloading "Courier New" font from SAP note 1817893.
Upload all *´.ttf files to /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService/fonts/customer
Ensure <sid>adm has read permissions on these files.
Restart AS Java system.
The exception error was gone in our case but the format of the form was destroyed. The strange thing was that the error did not occur on all ADS servers in our landscape however all servers where on the same patch level.
Let me know if the solution will work for you.
Regards, Martin

Please ask your basis team to apply the ADS SP17 patch.

hi Daniel,
Did you also got Courier-New in other forms?
Did you try it with another printer? Perhaps the Basisguys aren't out of the party
What does the error exact say?
What sometimes help is that you save the form in a local file and upload it in another namespace. Just a try.
But I never faced a problem like that. I'm pretty sure, you got somewhere a checkbox set, what not had to be done.
Sorry that I cannot give you more than that.

Florian

What version of Adobe builder you are running when developing it?
Maybe there is a bug in, I read about a similar problem in that discussion

Maybe this helps?
