Hi Experts,

We had setup a new Co. Code - "HWAA" (with new Orgs & Plant) to replace existing Co. Code - "MWBB" (with new Orgs & Plant). The "MWBB" will stop receiving new logistics orders, but how to change the setting(s) to block users creating new orders including Sales, Purchasing & Productoin docs. ?

Many Thanks,

KH Fong

Other than blocking master data you can control through user authorisation access.Ask your Security team to create a security role If there are using MWBB co code and plant data they should get an error you do not have authorisation to create data.

Hi Experts,

Thanks for your advice. If using the Method of blocking Customer & Vendor, some internal docs. such as PR, Planned Order, Reservation & Production Order should also be able to create. How to block creating these docs. as well ? (as least block creating PR & Production Order)

Many Thanks,

KH Fong

Hi Kwok

Best option is to control this through authorization. Ask your BASIS guy to delete MWBB company code from all user's roles at enterprise leve. This would be easy and better control.

If you block customers/vendors still there will be chances that someone can create reservation, material issuance through MB1B etc. Authorization control will control everything.

That is the reason remove authorisation role for creating and Change.Give Display role for review the documents.

Fong,

The most efficient way to tackle your problem would be to put a block at the customer/ Vendor master level to block the creation of orders for all Sales areas/ company code for all the customers in that company code.

You can use T-Code XD99 or MASS to achieve the same.

Thanks,
