Hi Mohan,

It is the maximum limit setup for ESI. Hoever, check other config as well. Basing  on the config set up in other tables and the maximum amount and the period for which it is running all matters. Have you verified the payroll log for INESI function in display log?

Please verify and let us know. As these are statutory contribtuions you should be following strctly the config.

Thanks

Madhav

Hi Gurus,

I've checked all configuration steps but still it's behaving same like If employee salary is less than 10000 then ESI is coming If employee salary is More than 10000 ESI Is't coming.

For more clarification kindly find below screens

Here employee salary is more than 10000 but no ESI

Here employee salary is less than 10000 so showing ESI

Checked Limits also

Please pull me out.................

Hi Mohan,

Please verify the config as shown below:

Check the config and also groupings assigned.

Now, check the payroll logs for both the scenarios ( >10,000 & >10,000) and compare these payroll display logs. You will be able to dientify how the INESI function is processing the data.

Take the wage types /112 & /113 and also the /3E1 & /3E2 for both the scenarios and compare these values.

Check the processing class '72' and cumulation clas '12' & '13' for your wage types.

Hi Mohan

/3E1 - Ee ESI contribution

/3E2 - Er ESI contribution are not being generated.

Also check whether /112 &/113 are also generated.

Please check the config and refer the below document for ESI config.

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-49899

INESI function processes the ESI. So, check the payroll display log and see how the schema processed it. the contribution amount will be displayed on pay statement.

Run the wage type reporter & Wage type Statement to see how the wage types have been generated for this employee.

HI Mohan,

I guess V_511P_B ESI eligibility limit may not be updated, it is still maintained as 10,000.

Because in RT there is /3EA, but No /3E1,& ,3E2.

you have done everything right & maintained IT 0588 still not getting the output???

Just check once the ESI Eligibility limit in your configuration.

Hi Mohan,

/3E1 & /3E2 are not being generated. Please check how INESI function is processing in display log.

Check the config of ESI as mentioned in my previous post and see if you are missing any config.

Thanks

Madhav.

Hi Madhav,

Yes what you said right, If i will give amount less than 10,000 then system is deducting ESI but here I'm getting confuse like even I've changed limit like 15,000 why system is't assuming this amount.

Kindly let me know to consider 15000 like limit
