    Hi theary,

    We can call two operations at one event.

    1. Create 1st menu item in menu box of screen design

    2. Create 2nd menu item in custom menu box of screen design. This one is used for hidden menu items. But operation will be generated in workflow and workflow message js files.

    3. In custom js file, custom after menu item click method,

    Write a below condition,

    If menuitem==1st menuitem then call the operation 2. You can find the proper opertion names in workflow js or workflow message js.

    So 2nd operation will be called when triggering the 1st operation.

    I hope this will helpful to you. Let me know if you have any queries..

    • Yes, i have used the second operation as submit workflow, so it will close automatically after calling the online request operation.

      I have given the realtime code which i used in my project.

      function customBeforeMenuItemClick(screen, menuItem) {

      if (screen == "Soft_Book_Request" && menuItem == "Approve") {

      menuItemCallbackSoft_Book_RequestUsageReport();

      }

      }

      In the above example, Usage report will be a online request. Whenever approval button is triggered Usage report operation will be called, then it will process the approval operation(Submit workflow).

      Regards

    Hi Theary,

    I couldnt understand your requirement completely? why dont you give more inputs.. why do you need to call 2 operations at a time? maybe you can give some scenarios.

    what kind of app you are developing? hybrid or native (for which platform)?

    What is backend connection you want to connect your app?
