HCM P&F - Write Authorization to Infotype

Hi Gurus,

I have developed a process with 3 steps i.e., Initiator, Manager and HR Admin. Created a rule for checking Step i.e., Check_Stage. so that actual Updation takes place in HR_Admin step. Rule is FORM_SCENARIO_STAGE = HR_Admin and assigned same for corresponding IT operation.

There is no problem with IT0001 in write to authorization check for another process.

But in another process IT0008 and IT0019 program checks for write authorization in initial step.

My issue is Why in initial step only program checks for authorization to Write Authorization to IT.

May be Chris can help in this regard.

Thanks

Krishna

As I understand if the rules(to skip operation in initial step) are set up correctly - authorization checks related to infotypes should not happen in the first place

    Regards.
