PO release strategy extraction

Dear All,

I need to create report for PO release strategy and their user assignment in BW. I need to extract release strategy classifications and user assignments. can anyone guide me how to achieve this? Thanks.

Hi Sai,

1. You need to get the snapshot of the report from the business team.

2. Based on Snapshot of the report, collect the fields from source system with the help of Functional people.(Functional Specs)

3. By using Functional spec document create the technical specs.

4. Choose appropriate Datasource

5. Replicate the datasource to BW System.

6. Mapping those objects source to target.

7. Load the data.

Hi Sai,

Please refer to Blueprint doc and try to understand requirment from Source and BW side. Then have a discussion with PO functional team.

It will provide a deep insight of requirement from BW.

You can refer to help.sap.com to get all lists of data sources required for PO and it helps you to find all properties for each DS.

Hi,

Check with your functional team and get the technical specs. by reading them you may get idea.

Even take MM consultant help and find source table and fields which holds po release strategy and user assignments.

once you know the base tables, thru base tables you can search for the data source which starts with 2LIS_02_* check them. if available data source matches with most of the fields and few are missing then think about enhancement. if not matching then think about generic data source concept.
