call screen in middle of a program

Hi techies,

I have a program in which I need to display parameters and based on these parameters I need to select records from table and again display a screen where we can enter fiscal period and date fields and hence depending on these two entries I need to update the previously filled table.

Question is how to call a new screen in middle of program where I need to give input fields and update table with these two field entries.

    Hi Bindla,

Create a function module and within it call a screen with starting and ending with that function, call and return the parameters according to the input data, it will simulate a popup.

I think this will help you...

      Hi,

Better to handle with the separate screen showing like pop up and handle your logic in PAI and PBO with your requirements.

      Call screen 100 starting at start_column start_row.

If you observe the all POPUP function modules are build with same customized call screen

You can simply use POPUP_GET_VALUES for the same. No need to create a modal box/screen
