Dividend Posting Error ( FWZE)

Hi Experts,

I need explanation/solution to very strange issue I am facing right now.

Whenever I am trying to post dividend in a Mutual Fund on 30th and 31st of any month after maintaining the dividend condition in FWZZ ,

system is showing me only 1 flow in FWZE i.e. of 31st.

I deleted the 31st condition from FWZZ and updated the planned record through FWUP . I was able post the 30th flow through FWZE.

Now I maintained 31st flow in FWZZ and did FWUP and then FWZE but there I am getting message " There are NO flow to be posted"

If i maintain after 31st i.e. 1st,2nd etc.  everything is working fine.Only 30th and 31st is giving me error (for all months)

Can anyone please let me know why system is behaving like this.Expecting a reply from all the experts there.

Thanks in Advance !!!

Hello Aditiya,

at first glance, it sounds like the situation is as described in the long text of note 1171921:

By default, there is no interest calculation method for dividends specified. In this
case, the system takes the method 360E/360 as default and no flow is
generated for either the 30th or 31st of a month.

So I would suggest to proceed as the note explains:

1. set the interest calculation method to optional in the field
   selection,
2. change to some other interest method in the detail
screen of the dividend condition items in FWZZ (e.g. act/360).
3. FWUP. The missing dividend will show up.

Best regards,

Marie

Thanks Marie , it worked like a charm and made my day.

Wonder why SAP would put such a condition.

Cheers ...
