stock determination in delivery

Hi Guys:

            I have received a requirement about stock determination in delivery.

            We have several shipping storage locations, some are internal ones in plant,the others are external ones which the location is outside of plant.

            The logistic guys want to separate delivery order base on internal/external storage locations.

            Please advise if is there any solution can fulfill this within one plant code, thanks.

The stock determination is probably triggered much to late.

the docu explains that in case of a delivery you can define whether it is done during WM picking, or when doing a goods issue. You can find the docu in front of the IMG activity for Assign Stock Determination Rule in the Applications > Delivery

I think you first need a storage location determination.

And this is actually done by assigning the rule in OVLK

and defining picking location in OVL3

In your specific case you probably need to do some coding in a user exit to find locations with stock which are then chosen according to your own logic of preferred locations
