Operation releasing

Hi,

I have a task list with a number of maintenance operations. I would like to insert some relationship or trigger between the operations to control when each one is released, e.g that operation 2 is not released until operation 1 is complete and so on.

Currently all operations are released at the same time. I have tried using 'network graphic' in T-code IA06 by inserting FS (finish-start) links betwwen operations but this doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dominick

    Thanks for your replies.

What do you mean by user status?

Also what is the point of relationships if they do not control the release of operations?

    Thanks,

    Dominick

Relationships schedules the order operations accordingly with the scheduled date & time. This will not control the business transactions such as confirmation of operations, goods movement etc.,

The link which you provided will be useful with Production Order. I feel, its not available with PM Order.

You can use User status control for operations to release one by one.

If you want to restrict for any user, then user status & development can be done.

    Hi,

when you release order header all operation would be released, you can not release in operation level with system status.

However, you can set user status for release each operation.
