Reports related to pending available capacity for work center

Dear all,

We have scenario given below,

Suppose we have a resource (XYZ) whose capacity is 18 hrs per day and we have made a master recipe by using same resource with utilization of 8 hrs only.

Hence for the same we have created and released the process order.

after that we have confirmed the process order later.

Hence could you suggest me any report where it should show that the remaining capacity of resource is 10 Hrs (18 Hrs - 8 Hrs)

Regards

Praveer

    Hello Praveer,

You can use standard report CM50 for this.

      Hello Praveer,

It is certain that the capacity requirement is not generated for your production/ process order.

Kindly cross check this by accessing any of your production or process order in change mode which is released & not processed yet.

In the application bar you have an option of check capacity availability (ctrl+F6). Click it. After that system should not give message as 'No reqmts/caps exists or not relevant to finite scheduling'.

If it gives message as above then please check your master data as well as customization as described below,

      1. Check your resource/WC for capacity data maintained. Make sure you have marked 'relevant for finite scheduling' in the capacity header.

      2. Check out the formulas you have maintained in the capacity tab page whether it is working fine & calculating the capacity requirement correctly with 'Test formula' push button. If it's not giving desired results then change the formulas or correct it. Please do note that the parameters in the the standard value key should be part of all your capacity formulas.

      3. Check out in control key maintained in the work center the indicator for 'Determine capacity requirement' is set. If not then either change the control key or change the configuration in the control key with T code OP00. Make sure to reenter this control key in the work center to make the configuration changes effective.

      4. Check out OPU3 (for production order) & OPUZ (for process order). Here make sure you have mentioned 'Generate capacity requirements' under 'Detailed scheduling'.

      5. Now in OPJK, for business function 2- Check availability during order release, you have unchecked 'No check' & maintain overall profile as 'SAPCRPG003'. Make sure inside 'SAPCRPG003' you have 'SAP___C004 as your control profile. If it's not then maintain that with T code OPD0.

Kindly ensure all this, correct whatever required & test it again by creating new order or making the order to read PP master data in change mode.

      Hope this helps.

    • Hi Keseva,

Thanks for you reply. but in that report, the report showing only remaining available capacity as full available which suppose to be reduced one ( Total available capacity - actual capacity = remaining available capacity).

Hence the requirements column is not updating with actual one and it is showing as "Zero" always.

Please provide other way around to fix this issue.

      Regards
