Vendor Category

During Vendor set up a single vendor is assigned to one category.Can we have multiple categories assigned to a single vendor number?

    I think you have to understand the vendor category concept.

    There are two types of vendor category

    1. Internal

    2. External.

    Thanks for your reply Dev but my Question is we have few vendors who handle two categories. so can we assing two category to a one vendor code at the time of vendor creation?

      Hi Kaustubh,

      You want to have multiple industry for a single vendor ? but does the vendor specified industry has the same address ? if not then create separte vendors and assign the industry sector to the vendor.

      In general you cant have multiple value option for the field industry in vendor master.

    The industry field allows only one entry for your data that you have setup in customizing.

    But cant you create a new industry code, which is a combination of 2 others?
