Restrict ECC to CRM order creation but allow to modify using middleware

Hi Folks,

We need to restrict sales order creation from ECC to CRM but allow to update existing one meaning if the order available in CRM table 'CRMD_ORDERADM_H' then allow to update if not then it should not create new order in CRM coz currently it is creating.

I know the badi 'CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI' , but don't know which method is correct to restrict order creation by cleaning all parametere andalso it should not impact on existing design.

Can anybody help me on this issue.

Thank in advanced

Regards,

Nikhilesh

    Hi Nikhilesh,

So, you don't want to create the sales order in CRM but you want to update the Sales orders which are there in CRM (ECC sales orders). Is it right or any thing else.

Can you give little detail explination or by point wise.

    Regards,

    Sap Adherent.

    Hi,

What about setting a filter on the creation date in R3AC1? This way you will block the replication from ecc to crm for sales orders created after the 1st of january for example, but keep on synchronizing sales orders created beforehand.

    No coding required...

    Regards,

    Nicolas.

Thanks Adherent and Nicolas for reply .

Basically we are going to do archiving in CRM system. let say order is archived and moved out from CRM box. In some scenario if ECC send any notification e.g. PGi or Invoice then it comes to CRM box via middleware then it create new order in CRM if order is not available coz it is already archived. We want to ristrict this scenario in CRM system. So we want a solution that doest not imapact on existing design.

@Nicolas: we can not add filter on date. we alreay had a discussion on that but bussiness is not agree on this point.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Nikhilesh
