How do you use history instances of Webi report in BIWS in Xcelsious

Does anyone know how to connect your BIWS to an older instance of a Webi report used as data to Xcelsious? We typically use the latest version of the scheduled report block, but have the need to use the year end version going forward.

Thanks for any help.

    Hello,

Is it not possible to delete the instances which are not required for the WebI report? That way you can keep the setting in Xcelsius to 'get latest instance' and have the required data. I do not think there is an option in Xcelsius to refer to a history instance of the WebI...

    Regards,

    Shwetha

    Hi Ahonen,

You have only two options for inserting the webi report into xcelsius dashboard i.e., "latest Instance" and "On Demand". There is no option available in Liveoffice for getting a specific instance of the report. So we need to work in webi report level only.

While scheduling the webi report, we have many Recurrence options as shown in the below image. Select the "Last Day of Month" option and give the year end date as per ur requirement. So that will be your latest instance of the report which you can get into the xcelsius dashboard.
