CM25 vs manual re-scheduling for Direct production orders

Dear all,

I have a direct production scenario where one production order for FERT material produces sub-orders for HALB materials. I created a production order for the FERT material with basic start and finish dates = 05.02.2014 and the same dates appear for the HALB materials in the suborders. When I change the "outline dates" in the collective order to 03.02.2014 and reschedule the collective order, the sub orders follow also to 03.02.2014, which is what I want.

However when I use CM25 and change the scheduled date for the collective order to 08.01.2014, the suborders do not follow. They stay at 03.02.2014. Why is that the case? Is there any customizing for CM25 specifically for collective orders (direct production scenario)?

PS. Please have a look at the relevant screenshots in the link below:

Thanks in advance

    Hi Michail Papadopoulos

I faced same problem with collective order in CM25.

And my solution is when you move FERT order, basic date in FERT order will be change. After that you click button change , and copy basic date to outline date, then click "schedule" for scheduling and save it.

When you return CM25 screen, you will see your result.

This is my solution, hoping will help you.

    Thanks and best regards,

    • Thanks for the reply. I understand how you solved your problem but I am currently scheduling a large number of orders and it is inpossible to go back and do what you're suggesting. As a matter of fact there is a simpler way to do what you're doing. Without copying the basic date to outline date, just select Schedule>Collective order and the system will automatically re-allign the sub orders and the collective order.

We are currently looking into 3 possible solutions:

      1. Customizing. I am looking into transaction OPD1 that contains the Selection profile for CM25.

      2. A stand-alone programm that is run by the user manually to rec tify the problem. Basically a recording that does what I described above: i.e. Schedule> Collective order for the specified order (via selection screen)

      3. Enhancement spot SAPLCOZV_CU_002 SPOTS ES_SAPLCOZV in function CO_ZV_ORDER_POST. For direct materials only (i.e. Special procurement type = 52) We want to change the production order dates to be the same with the dates of the collective order.

If anyone has soleved this issue befoire please comment on the proposed solution

      Thanks in advance

      Michalis
