Hi,
I'm facing problem to create new allowance for seniority with splits:
for employees who spend more than 5 years and less than 10 years they have right to a seniority allowance = 5% of basic salary
for employees who spend more then 10 years and less than 20 years they have right to a seniority allowance = 10% of basic salary
could any one help me in this point.
how can i customize this
thank you.
In Time Management
We can define absence quotas based on seniority.
Coming to Payroll As you said An employee is eligible for 5% of Basic Pay whose seniority is 5 years to 10 years
First and main question arises How do system identifies an employee that he/she is seniority for above 5 years or 10 years or 20 years? The system should identify on the date of Hiring Action.
2nd Question An employee is eligible for 5% of Basic in between 5 years to 10 years? respectively 10% inbetween 10 years to 20 years? An user exit is required for this For employees who crossed 5 years User should able to input the data for special allowance or it should show some kind of a message that it is not applicable for employee for employees who didnt complete 5 years in the company.
You can also define two wagetypes for special allowance naming with 5-10years with 5% of Basic and 10-20 with 10% of basic wagtype through configuration of valuation of base wagetypes .
Configure two wagetypes for special allowance that should valuate 5% of Basic Pay and 10% of Basic Pay
User exit for employees crossing 5 years and 10 years . A user should allow to input the data for 5% of basic pay and 10% of basic pay
There is nothing much customization is required You need a user exit to restrict the user to input the data for employees less than 5 years in seniority. and a user exit is required for employees crossing 5 years and 10 years are applicable for 5% and 10%
I suggest you to coordinate with ABAPER to achieve your requirement
