Special Chracters

Hi

Is it possible to load a value like Abc : to master data tables?

RSKC is set to ALL_CAPITAL and the characteristic allows lower case letters. However, when I load the data Abc : is filtered in error stack.

Thank you!

    Hi Steve,

Did you analyze the PSA for the failed record? Could it be that there is a not permitted character in the text string?

Please also refer to the following SAP Notes for more information:

    Hi Steve,

    This load should be possible.

Please refer if you haven't :

RSKC should have only ALL_CAPITAL,nothing else. Also, check if Hexadecimal values are coming up in the data.

    Regards

    • Hi Sander,

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure why but system didn't accept such characters.

I've tried ALL_CAPITAL_PLUS_HEX also but it didn't help either.

I was in a rush and the field was not necessary for reporting at that time so I discarded it for now.

      Thanks for your help.
